Legal information
Privacy policy
Last updated: August 2026
This cultural guide is an independent, non-profit information project. We apply the data-minimisation principle: we process only the information needed to operate, protect and improve the site.
Information we may collect
- Technical browsing data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, approximate access date and diagnostic data.
- Strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies to remember privacy preferences and, only if you authorise it, analytics data.
- Information you voluntarily provide when contacting us by email or another published channel.
How we use the information
- Improve content, accessibility and the user experience.
- Analyse general traffic trends when there is consent for analytics.
- Respond to requests and communications.
- Prevent abuse, resolve technical incidents and meet legal obligations.
Legal basis and consent
Necessary cookies are used for essential functions. Analytics cookies are not enabled by default: they require an affirmative choice on the cookie settings page. When processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Third-party services
The site may embed Google Maps to show location, Google Analytics for traffic measurement only when you authorise it, and photographic resources from Wikimedia Commons or Unsplash. Each provider applies its own terms and privacy policy. Loading an embedded map may involve a direct connection to Google.
Retention and security
We keep no own advertising profiles or user database. Technical data retained by infrastructure or analytics providers is governed by their periods and controls. We apply reasonable measures to reduce unnecessary collection and data exposure.
Your rights
Under applicable law — including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where relevant — you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to processing and, where applicable, portability. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Minors
This site is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we detect such information obtained improperly, we will seek to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect technical, legal or editorial changes. The version published on this page will apply.
